If you study at the Stoney Creek Campus, your Mohawk Students' Association (MSA) will be stopping by to celebrate the start of the semester with you as part of our Y2Frosh Week.

Enjoy:

Video games and challenges provided by We Got Game - we'll have a variety of games available including virtual bowling!
Meet your Campus Experience Crew team who will be there to interact with you and enjoy some 2000s music playlists!
Complimentary student BBQ provided by your MSA Hospitality team outside by the Cafeteria (if it rains, BBQ food will be brought inside).
- The BBQ will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

This is a drop-in activity for Mohawk College Students, no registration required. Cereal is available until we run out, so get there early!

Interactive Outdoor Movie Night: Mean Girls (Fennell) (11-09-2026, 19:00)

As part of Y2Frosh Weeks, your Mohawk Students' Association is hosting our 2nd annual outdoor movie night, but this time it's interactive! Join your friends, new classmates and meet new students at our screening of MEAN GIRLS (the original movie) on the MSA Plaza, co-hosted by Hub of Trivia Events.

What is an interactive movie? At certain points throughout the movie, you'll be instructed to mimic things that are happening in the movie, as well as Campus Experience Crew will be handing out surprise items. Our co-host, Hub of Trivia Events, will also be incorporating some Mean Girls trivia questions throughout that you can use your mobile device to answer.

Each Mohawk College student will receive snack tickets for popcorn, a frozen treat, as well as items to make S'mores at our fire pits.

Event Schedule:

7:00 pm - visit our check-in table to pick up your snack tickets and any interactive instructions
7:30 pm - Mean Girls movie begins
9:30 pm - Mean Girls movie ends (students are absolutely welcome to stick around by the fires or picnic tables)
10:00 pm - Event Ends

What to bring:

Mohawk College Student ID Card (or proof of student status ex: timetable) - you will be asked for this to receive snack tickets
Lawn chairs, blankets, or something to sit on (the ground is concrete)
- The movie will be located by the picnic tables for additional seating, and we will have some mats you can borrow as well
Appropriate clothing for a cool night depending on the temperature
A fun energy to help make the interactive portion of this event a success!

This event is for Mohawk College Students only. Guests of students may attend, but will not receive snack tickets unless there are items leftover - thank you in advance for your cooperation.

In case of rain or bad weather, the event will move into The Arnie (located in the MSA Student Centre).

COFFEE PARTY feat. DJ Duo 'MJX' & Mobile Barista: Kickback Sips! (Fennell) (09-09-2026, 11:00)

We're hosting our first ever COFFEE PARTY at Mohawk!

What is a coffee party you ask? It's a daytime social party with caffeine and live music and a chance for you to meet other students during your first day of college classes on your lunch break. Forget the 10pm bar scene, forget the hangover and come make your first college memories at the MSA Student Centre!

Why a coffee party you ask? This is the MSA's very soft launch of sharing with Mohawk students that a future café is coming to the Fennell Campus in late 2027. We'll have renderings of the future café on the walls for you to see!

Mobile Barista coffee pours provided by Kickback Sips
- Espresso drinks, flavoured syrups, and batches of cold brew
- Don't drink coffee? That's okay - it's still a party!
