Tradiciones del Día de los Muertos 

Drop by the IAHS Lobby to learn about Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos)—its traditions, history, and cultural significance. This event offers students a hands-on way to engage with the celebration and its meaning. 

Event Details: 

  • Learn about the importance and traditions of Día de los Muertos 

  • Help paint and decorate wooden sugar skulls (calaveras de azúcar) while learning about their symbolism 

  • Completed designs will be brought to Fennell Campus to be included in the community altar (altar de muerto) and displayed as decorations for the Day of the Dead Pub Night in The Cellar on November 5 and 6
