Join us for a cultural celebration of remembrance and community at our Day of the Dead Traditions (Tradiciones del Día de los Muertos) event. Learn about this beautiful annual tradition, help decorate a community altar (altar de muertos), and enjoy traditional treats and activities. 

Event Details: 

• Community Altar (altar de muertos) 

• Mexican Hot Chocolate (chocolate abuelita) 

• Traditional Sweet Bread (pan de muerto) 

• Traditional Games like Bingo (lotería) 

• Traditional music and the Coco movie playing in the background 

Call for Student Participation: 

We invite all students to contribute to the community altar. You can bring photos of family and friends you’ve lost or items that remind you of them. 

Don’t worry if you don’t have anything to bring—everyone is welcome to participate, learn, and celebrate together. You can also help decorate the altar with materials provided by The MSA.  

Once complete, the altar will be moved to The Cellar as part of the Day of the Dead Pub Night celebration later that day. Come take part in a meaningful celebration that honors memory, culture, and connection.
