Co-hosted by your Mohawk Students' Association and Underground Comedy Railroad, join us for a night of laughs and to celebrate black excellence on campus.

The 14th Annual ‘Underground Comedy Railroad (UCR)’ is a groundbreaking all-black comedy tour, founded in 2012 by Rodney Ramsey and Daniel Woodrow. As Canada's first tour of its kind, UCR has been pioneering the way for Black Canadian comedians to share their unique humor and stories with a wider audience. Each February, to coincide with Black History Month, we embark on a nationwide journey, bringing laughter and thought-provoking entertainment to stages across Canada.

Mohawk College student - Lenny Benson’s – will be opening the night with a short comedy set to get the evening started. Lenny is a talented student who studies Broadcast Journalism, has his own podcast, supports and works with Mohawk’s Black & Racialized Student Success Centre and is a student staff member of the Communications team at the Mohawk Students’ Association. We’re absolutely thrilled to have Lenny take the microphone for this event on behalf of Mohawk and its community of students!

• Join your classmates and college friends for a night of comedy, education and laughs
• This event is open to Mohawk College students only and we ask you bring your Mohawk Student ID card when you check-in
• Government issued identification will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages
• Registration is required to secure your spot. Walk-ins will be allowed based on seating capacity
