Registration will close by 2:00 pm on October 30. Check-In for students who have pre-registered will begin at 6:50 pm. For those who didn't pre-register, registration at the door will only be available if capacity allows. If you pre-registered and you don't arrive by 8:30 pm, your spot will not be guaranteed as it may be given to another student. Maximum capacity is 500 students.
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is a joyful celebration cherished by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains worldwide.
It recognizes the triumph of light over darkness and symbolizes new beginnings, hope, and renewal. Register now for a free ticket to join us as we celebrate Diwali at the Fennell Campus this month. Festivities include a dance party with a DJ and Dhol Drummer.

Check out Mohawk College's will take place on Wednesday, October 30, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre. This event promises dynamic performances and an opportunity to learn about the significance of the Festival of Lights, along with sampling traditional Diwali sweets!
Details for the Wednesday evening event in The Arnie from 7:00pm-10:00pm:
- Mohawk College Students Only, No External Guests. Please bring your One Card to check in with MSA staff.
- This event requires students to register for a free ticket.
- This event is alcohol-free. Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
- Any traditional accessories that may include items perceived as objects that could cause harm (ie: Kirpan) will not be allowed.
