Student Executive Team

The President helps guide the overall direction of the MSA and supports student advocacy at a broad level. They act as a key connector between students, the Board, the SET, and the wider community, while representing students in conversations with college leadership and external partners. They keep the team aligned and moving forward, support the Vice Presidents, and build strong relationships across campus, focusing on influence, alignment, and advocacy.

The Vice President, College Affairs focuses on student experience and academic advocacy. They work with faculty, administration, and student services to address concerns, represent student perspectives, and turn Board priorities into action. Their role centres on improving the learning experience and aligning student needs with how the college operates.

The Vice President, External Affairs leads advocacy beyond your Mohawk College campus, representing student interests at the municipal, provincial, and national levels. They track policy changes, build relationships across the sector, and turn Board priorities into advocacy strategies and campaigns. Their role focuses on government relations, policy advocacy, and making sure student voices are part of the bigger picture.

The Vice President, Equity & Inclusion focuses on equity and inclusion - making sure all students feel seen and heard. They bring forward the experiences of underrepresented students, identify barriers to access and success, and apply an equity lens across initiatives. Their role is to help create a more inclusive and representative student experience.

The Vice President, International Affairs focuses on supporting and advocating for international students. They represent international student perspectives, identify systemic barriers, and work with campus support services to improve the overall experience. Their role is to help make navigating college life smoother and more supportive.
