Every full-time Mohawk College student is an MSA member, and membership comes with real, practical help — a bus pass, health and dental coverage, free legal advice, food programs, equipment to borrow and more. Most of it is already paid for through your student fees.

HSR Bus Pass
A bus pass voucher for your PRESTO card, so you can ride the HSR across Hamilton. Included for all full-time students.
Health & Dental
Extended health and dental coverage through Alumo, insured by Securian Canada. Check what is covered before you book.
Food Security
Free food programs, affordable food outlets and an emergency food bank, running across all three campuses.
Legal Counselling
Free, confidential legal advice from the MSA’s lawyer. Book a consultation on any matter affecting you as a student.
Equipment Loans
Calculators, lab supplies and learning tools to borrow, free of charge, from the Service Desk at your campus.
Grad Photos
Graduation photography with Studio Nostalgia, in partnership with the MSA. Book your session before you finish.
Home & Auto
Preferred rates on home and auto insurance through The Personal. Request a quote to see what you would pay.
