Food Security

Food insecurity is a challenge that disproportionately affects post-secondary students, and at the MSA we know this systemic issue can impact anyone. To support students across all three campuses, we run free food programs, affordable food outlets, and an emergency food bank.

Everything on this page is available to Mohawk students. There is no means test and nothing to prove.

Fennell Campus

Affordable Food at the Student Centre

At the MSA Student Centre you will find three food outlets: The Cellar, The Cellar On The Go, and Brewed Awakenings. We offer a variety of affordable options at each location, from quick breakfasts for under $6 to full meals at The Cellar, where every menu item is priced at $16 or less.

Free Food Programs

Turn up, take what you need, and get to class. No form, no student number and no questions.

Break Time Bites

We know it can be tough to juggle everything, and a lack of funds can affect whether you can buy a mid-day snack. If you need a break time bite during a long day of classes, visit us at the MSA Support Desk.
