The MSA Board of Directors is made up of students and recent graduates who are elected or appointed to represent the interests of Mohawk College students.

What the Board Does
The Board guides the MSA’s direction and keeps the organisation accountable to students. Rather than managing day-to-day operations, Board members focus on the bigger picture: where the MSA is going, how well it is serving students, and whether it is meeting its commitments.
- Sets the strategic direction of the MSA
- Approves policies, budgets and organisational priorities
- Monitors the MSA’s performance and financial health
- Provides oversight of organisational risks
- Ensures the MSA stays focused on its mission, vision, values and strategic plan
- Makes decisions that advance the interests, wellbeing and success of students
The Board’s ultimate role is to ask thoughtful questions, consider the long-term needs of students, and ensure the MSA continues to create meaningful impact.
