Blackout Period - Winter 2026

For new students starting in the Winter semester, please note that the blackout period for your Health & Dental plan is in effect January 1 - February 28, 2026. During this time, you are covered, but you will not be able to access or use the plan directly (e.g., by submitting claims or using the portal) until the blackout period ends.

Hold on to your receipts in the meantime, and submit your claims when the blackout period ends! We are here to support if you have more questions.

Dialogue Programs

Dialogue is a virtual healthcare platform that powers two services available to you: Empower Me and General Virtual Healthcare.

Empower Me (Mental Health & Wellness)
Empower Me connects you with mental health and wellness professionals who can support your unique needs. You can get help with common challenges such as mental health concerns, family or relationship conflicts, conflict resolution, nutrition, and more. Explore more on Studentcare's Empower Me page.

General Virtual Healthcare (Health Interactive – HI)
This service lets you register and book appointments online. You can consult with doctors or registered nurses by phone, video call, or chat confidentially and on your schedule. Many health concerns can be assessed or treated directly through the Dialogue platform, including dermatology issues, minor emergencies, sexual health, and other minor health concerns.
